Publication Designer
The Role

As a Publication Designer, you’ll translate complex content into compelling visual narratives across print and digital formats, with a focus on integrated and sustainability reports. Your work will help shape how the world sees and trusts our clients, creating clarity, inspiring action, and reinforcing credibility. You understand that today’s designs must be adaptable across multiple channels, often requiring a digital-first approach. You are passionate about working with a team genuinely committed to building brands that matter and eager to learn how sustainability thinking applies to brand design.
Responsibilities
- Design visually impactful annual and sustainability reports that bring clarity, structure and emotion to complex narratives.
- Collaborate across disciplines to generate fresh, purposeful ideas that strengthen client brands and communicate progress credibly.
- Translate strategy and messaging into thoughtful, crafted visual language, from layouts and infographics to data visualisation and typographic storytelling.
- Own your work, from concept to delivery — ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with the approved creative direction.
- Co-create social media visuals, presentations and marketing assets that extend our design thinking across touchpoints.
- Work closely with our Creative Director, Sustainability Consultants, Client Services and Creative team to align on themes, content and design language across projects.
- Deliver design solutions within specified and mutually agreed schedules.
- Maintain a high standard of attention to detail in all design work, from page layout to final artwork.
About You
- You are able to articulate and visualise your ideas and concepts clearly.
- Fluency in spoken and written English required.
- You bring 3+ years of experience in publication design, particularly in report design, experience in digital design is a strong advantage.
- Communicate openly and constructively with senior colleagues, articulating your design rationale with clarity and confidence to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and present ideas with conviction to both internal teams and clients.
- You are a master of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and you have an eye for typography, layout hierarchy, information design, imagery and detail.
- Self-motivated, organised, accountable and thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Maintain a respectful, collaborative and positive attitude, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of pagination planning, data visualisation and information design.
- You care deeply about purpose, people and progress, and are excited to design work that matters.
